FAQ

Why choose Dana Orthodontics?
At Dana Orthodontics, our goal is to provide you with quality orthodontic treatment at a reasonable price.
How much do braces cost?
This depends on several factors, but our case fee for comprehensive treatment (the most common situation) is $4990. Typically our patients actually pay less than this due to our monthly promotions, a contracted rate with insurance, or because they need less treatment than a typical case entails. Check out our current promotions!
Are payment plans available?
Of course! To make things more affordable for our patients we offer payment plans with NO INTEREST . The cost of treatment will be divided into monthly payments for the duration of treatment. No credit check required, we just need a credit/debit card on file.
Do you take my insurance?
Very likely. We are in network with most dental insurance plans. If for some reason we are not in network, we can typically still use the insurance if an out-of-network benefit is available. If this all sounds confusing, don't worry - our staff is trained to find out this information for you during your consultation. Just bring your insurance ID card and they will handle the rest!
Do you accept Medicaid?
We accept Medicaid, though it works a little differently than normal insurance. Medicaid will only pay for braces if they deem it medically necessary, and will not cover adult patients under normal circumstances. In order to find out if they will cover your case, we will collect the required information at your consultation and submit the case to Medicaid. It usually takes 2-4 weeks to get a response, but we will reach out once we have an answer. Denials are unfortunately pretty common, but we do offer a discount to those who get denied and wish to move forward with treatment anyways.
How long will I be in braces for?
That depends on the type of treatment you need. Most people need comprehensive treatment, which typically ranges from 18-24 months. It is unlikely you will be in braces longer than this unless it is an unusual case or treatment instructions are not being followed well.
Are there clear options?
Yes! We have multiple options available such as Invisalign, clear aligners, or ceramic braces.
Ready to get started?
Consultations are always free!
